Split Pea soup!

We made some excellent split pea soup today with the ham bone from our 20 pound Thanksgiving ham. This was the juiciest, tastiest ham we've ever had. We think that not getting a spiral cut ham was the key. Spiral cut ham may save some time, but it lets out the juices!

The brand of the ham was Farmer John's from Smart and Final. Highly recommended!
